Job Summary:
We are looking for a highly motivated Sr. Scrum Master who is fluent in German to lead Agile teams, ensuring smooth execution of Scrum processes. The ideal candidate will facilitate Agile ceremonies, remove impediments, and foster a culture of continuous improvement. This role requires strong communication and leadership skills, along with hands-on experience in Agile methodologies and Jira. Will be expert at getting the Agile KPI Metrics from Jira.
Key Responsibilities:
- Facilitate Scrum ceremonies (Daily Stand-ups, Sprint Planning, Sprint Reviews, Retrospectives).
- Guide teams on Agile principles and metrics , ensuring adherence to Scrum best practices.
- Identify and remove obstacles that hinder team progress.
- Track and report on team performance using Agile metrics (velocity, burn-down charts, etc.).
- Act as a liaison between German-speaking stakeholders and the Engineering Managers.
- Support Agile transformation initiatives within the organization.
- Manage and optimize workflows using Jira, ensuring teams effectively track tasks, sprints, and dependencies.
- Leverage Jira reports and dashboards to provide visibility into team progress and identify areas for improvement.
Required Qualifications:
- 3-7 years of experience as a Scrum Master in Agile environments.
- Fluent in German (B2/C1 level or higher) and English.
- Strong knowledge of Agile frameworks (Scrum, Kanban, SAFe).
- Extensive experience working with Jira, Confluence, or similar Agile tools.
- Certification (CSM, PSM-I/II) is a plus.
- Excellent facilitation, conflict resolution, and stakeholder management skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in software development, IT, or digital transformation projects.
- Knowledge of DevOps, CI/CD, or SAFe frameworks.
- Previous experience working with distributed or international teams.
