What Makes You a Great Fit
Education
- Master’s degree or higher in Bioinformatics, Computer Engineering, Machine Learning, Data Science, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience working with genomic data and applied ML/AI.
Your Superpowers
- Proven experience developing clinical bioinformatics pipelines—from variant interpretation to automated reporting.
- Deep hands-on knowledge of NGS data modeling, human genetics, and multi-omics data applications.
- Fluency in machine learning frameworks like Hugging Face and TensorFlow, plus AI/GenAI deployment in production settings.
- Experience building and scaling RAG-based GenAI applications (Retrieval-Augmented Generation).
- Strong scripting abilities in Python and Bash.
- Command of cloud-native platforms—especially Azure, including data lakehouse/warehouse services.
- Experience with both SQL and NoSQL databases and context-aware OCR technologies.
- DevOps familiarity (CI/CD, unit testing) is a plus.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills in fast-paced, cross-functional teams.

- Serve as the go-to expert for bioinformatics-driven ML/AI innovation in a clinical genomics environment.
- Architect and implement next-gen platforms that derive meaningful insights from genomic, phenotypic, and clinical datasets.
- Evaluate and fine-tune GenAI models, adapting them to real-world healthcare applications.
- Leverage advanced data engineering and AI frameworks to support internal R&D and client-facing solutions.
- Collaborate closely with a diverse team of geneticists, software engineers, and IT experts in a regulated diagnostics setting.
