Role: Enterprise Architect-Apigee
Duration: 3+ Month Contract (with possibility of extension)
Schedule: Full-time (40 hours per week)
Work Location: 100% Remote.
Methodology: Currently working in a Waterfall environment with future transition to Agile.
Industry Preference: Healthcare experience preferred but not required.
Key Responsibilities
- Evaluate issues and make recommendations backed by data to support project and program decisions.
- Design the scope of enterprise architecture initiatives and develop High-Level Architecture Views (HLV/HLD) aligned with business objectives.
- Articulate technology solution options and recommend best practices using cloud technologies and modern application development practices.
- Plan technology integration and workflows across the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and Product Development Life Cycle (PDLC).
- Design scalable, secure, and reusable enterprise solutions using established architecture and design patterns.
- Lead enterprise API architecture and integration strategy, with Apigee as the primary API Management platform.
- Design and implement cloud-native solutions on Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
- Collaborate with Product Management, business stakeholders, architects, and engineering teams to deliver enterprise solutions.
- Provide technical guidance and support for developers, engineers, and other stakeholders.
- Ensure software quality meets security, scalability, recovery, maintainability, and performance requirements.
- Apply FinOps practices to development activities where appropriate.
- Create solution designs by collaborating with architects and technical teams.
- Develop and maintain Enterprise Architecture integration standards, governance frameworks, and technology roadmaps.
- Conduct architecture reviews, gap analysis, and ensure compliance with enterprise standards.
- Create data models to visualize integrations and support enterprise architecture.
- Oversee development, version control standards, backend processes, and application architecture governance.
- Assist with incident response, troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and problem resolution.
- Communicate project status and architectural recommendations to stakeholders and leadership.
- Partner with cross-functional teams to ensure solutions align with business, security, infrastructure, and enterprise architecture standards.
Required Qualifications
- Proven experience as an Enterprise Architect or Solution Architect.
- Strong experience designing enterprise architecture solutions and defining architecture scope.
- Experience across SDLC and PDLC.
- Experience working in Waterfall environments with knowledge of Agile methodologies.
- Strong Product Management collaboration experience.
- Extensive experience with enterprise API Architecture.
- Hands-on experience with Apigee (required).
- Strong experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
- Solid understanding of enterprise integration, architecture governance, and design patterns.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills.
