About the Role
BigRio is looking for an experienced Full Stack Engineer with experience in moving Replit applications to production.
The primary focus will be taking front-end applications built on Replit from PoC, MVP and startup development through to a stable, production-ready, secure and scalable release.
What You’ll Do
- Move existing front-end applications built on Replit from staging/development into production environments
- Manage the transition of Replit-hosted apps to production-grade hosting/infrastructure where required
- Identify and resolve production-readiness issues (performance, bundle size, browser compatibility, error handling)
- Collaborate with backend engineers, DevOps, and product stakeholders to ensure smooth, reliable releases
- Set up or improve CI/CD pipelines for front-end deployments where needed
- Monitor post-deployment for issues and provide fixes as needed
- Provide clear documentation of deployment steps and configurations
What We’re Looking For
- Hands-on experience with Replit, including its deployment and hosting features
- Proven experience shipping front-end applications to production (React, Vue, Angular, or similar frameworks)
- Strong understanding of modern build tools (Webpack, Vite, or similar) and deployment pipelines
- Familiarity with CI/CD practices and tools (GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, Jenkins, etc.)
- Experience with cloud/hosting platforms (Vercel, Netlify, AWS, Azure, or similar)
- Solid grasp of performance optimization, debugging, and pre-launch QA for web apps
- Ability to work independently and communicate clearly in a remote, async-friendly environment
- Comfortable with a flexible, need-basis engagement (not a fixed full-time schedule)
Nice to Have
- Experience working with consulting/agency teams on client projects
- Familiarity with monitoring/observability tools (Sentry, Datadog, etc.)
- Prior experience in a similar contract or freelance capacity
