Job Summary:
We are seeking a seasoned Senior Salesforce Developer to lead the design, development, and continuous enhancement of their Salesforce platform, supporting diverse business operations. This position requires in-depth expertise in Salesforce (Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Apex, and Lightning Web Components) and a proven ability to deliver scalable, secure, and high-performing CRM solutions in a complex enterprise setting.
As a senior technical leader, you will act as a Salesforce subject matter expert, guide architectural decisions, and mentor team members on cross-functional initiatives. You will work closely with business analysts, product owners, and external vendors to ensure Salesforce is fully aligned with strategic goals.
Key Responsibilities:
Salesforce Development & Customization
- Design, build, and implement custom features and solutions using Apex, Lightning Web Components (LWC), Visualforce, and Flows.
- Enhance standard Salesforce functionality through advanced configuration and code.
- Ensure code quality through scalable, well-documented solutions that follow Salesforce best practices.
Architecture & System Integration
- Develop scalable and secure platform architecture that supports business and technical objectives.
- Integrate Salesforce with external applications (ERP systems, billing, data platforms, etc.) using REST APIs, middleware, or third-party connectors.
- Continuously assess and recommend improvements to architecture for performance and maintainability.
Stakeholder Collaboration
- Work with product managers and business stakeholders to understand and translate requirements into scalable technical designs.
- Participate actively in Agile ceremonies, including planning, estimation, and retrospectives.
Mentorship & Standards
- Conduct design and code reviews to ensure adherence to best practices.
- Mentor junior developers and promote awareness of upcoming Salesforce releases and new development approaches.
Testing & QA
- Develop and maintain unit and integration tests; support UAT activities.
- Collaborate with QA and DevOps teams to integrate quality into CI/CD pipelines.
- Promote test automation and regression coverage for key platform components.
Innovation & Optimization
- Stay current with Salesforce innovations, tools, and AppExchange offerings.
- Continuously evaluate and implement process and UX improvements.
- Recommend and lead adoption of new tools, components, and design patterns.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
- 10+ years of hands-on experience in Salesforce development and customization.
- Deep expertise in Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Apex, Lightning Web Components, Visualforce, and Flows.
- Experience with system integrations (REST/SOAP APIs, middleware, Salesforce Connect).
- Familiarity with version control and DevOps tools such as Git, Copado, or Gearset.
- Salesforce Platform Developer I and II certifications are highly desirable.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and debugging skills.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to work across technical and business teams.
